Alpinestars is seeking a PRODUCT ENGINEER – HELMETS to join the R&D department to develop and maintain 3D/2D helmet designs, ensuring technical quality and manufacturability. You will transform ideas into production-ready solutions, contributing to innovation and performance.

You will create 3D models, participate in all stages of development, ensure DFM, and collaborate with suppliers for tooling feedback while meeting homologation requirements.

Competenze

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial design or equiv.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in product CAD design (helmets, consumer goods, sports equipment, automotive).
• Experience in the motorcycle helmets sphere is necessary.
• Excellent knowledge of CATIA V5/V6.
• Knowledge of mechanical kinematics and materials (thermoplastics, composites, foams) and common production processes.

Mansioni

• Create and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings for helmet components.
• Participate in the entire product development process from concept to validation.
• Propose and design technical solutions for modular parts and integration with interior components.
• Ensure compliance with homologation regulations (ECE, DOT) and quality standards.
• Work cross-functionally with Design, Project Management and Prototyping teams.
• Ensure DFM compliance for new models and liaise with suppliers for tooling feedback.
• Support validation and 3D printed prototype reviews to match functional expectations.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVIT
