Alpinestars is seeking a skilled Footwear Racing Pattern Maker Assistant to join the Racing Footwear Department in Asolo, Italy. You will work closely with the pattern maker and a team of developers and designers to follow and execute projects for internal Racing production.

The role focuses on developing digital patterns, ensuring compliance with design and technical specs, and supporting in material selection, data sheet drafting, and production processes.

Competenze

• Educational background in footwear pattern making and/or related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years' experience in a similar position.
• Strong English skills, both written and spoken.

Position

We are currently seeking a skilled Footwear Racing Pattern Maker Assistant to join our Racing Footwear Department located in Asolo, Italy. Here, you will cooperate closely with our Footwear Racing Pattern Maker as well as with a skilful team of developers and designers, so to follow and carry out assigned projects to be developed for our internal Racing production.

Main responsibilities

• Starting from the assigned project, you will support the development and preparation of digital patterns for racing collection footwear, assisting in ensuring compliance with design requirements and technical specifications. You will assist in preparing patterns for cutting and assembling, while supporting the team in meeting agreed timelines. You will also contribute to the review of assembled products, helping to identify and address potential defects.
• You will also support the preparation and provision of all necessary information and documentation to our internal Racing Production team, assisting them in the correct development and manufacturing of the assigned products.
• You will also collaborate with the developers team to find correct raw material to use and to draft the technical data sheet
• You will support in verification of patterns, ensuring consistency with the final product and compliance with the required measurements, whist assisting in following the indications provided by the Racing Services and PR teams responsible for managing our riders and drivers.
• Moreover, you will support and follow the Racing production process (cutting and assembling), assisting in ensuring that the final product is built in accordance with the original engineering specifications. You will also contribute to identifying and resolving potential defects and support the implementation of product development directives in line with collection requirements and changes. In addition, you will assist in verifying the correct fit, comfort, and functionality of the final product.

Requirements

• Educational background in footwear pattern making and/or related field.
• A minimum of 2+ years' experience in a similar position, preferably in the Technical Footwear sector.
• Good Teseo (Pragma or Naxos) 2D CAD knowledge specifically on footwear products.
• Strong problem solving skills and team work attitude.
• Good English skills, both written and spoken - Please note that this is an English speaking environment.
• Availability to travel is a plus.
• Interest for the motorsports industry is considered an added value.

Compensation Package - From €28,000 (Depending on experience)
