PPG Industries is seeking a Process Engineer Internship in Italy. The role focuses on defining and improving process engineering standards, operational instructions, and preventive actions to boost quality and process performance.

You will work with the technical lab, department managers, and the Launch Process Engineer to ensure alignment between batch tickets and field operations, optimize production cycles, and drive continuous improvement through data analysis and digitization.

Competenze

• Requires a degree in chemical engineering or chemistry with strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Good command of English and ability to work in an international environment.

Mansioni

• Review batch tickets and ensure consistency with on-field operations.
• Assess production options to meet quality, cost, and lead time goals.
• Support safe manufacturability and repeatable processes.
• Map processes in the field to update capacity models.
• Update working methods for transfer and setup of systems.
• Collaborate with the team to improve processes and data digitization.
