PPG is seeking an Engineering Design Intern at the Quattordio site in Italy to support the Engineering team on feasibility and design studies for ongoing projects. You will gain hands-on experience, collaborate with senior engineers, and work towards owning an end-to-end project by the end of the internship.

You will be exposed to design development, P&IDs verification, and learning project management basics in a team of engineers with diverse areas of interest.

Competenze

• Education: Engineering Degree, preferred Chemical Engineering
• Languages: Italian, English
• Other preferred qualifications: AutoCAD

Mansioni

• Main achievements: assist in the design development of ongoing and new projects
• Deliverables: verify existing P&IDs, modify according to new designs and understand specifications for new equipment
• Goals: develop technical skills and knowledge, as well as understanding project management basics
• Team structure: You will be part of a team of 5 Engineers, working in close collaboration with 1 or 2 senior team members, depending on your main area of interest (Automation, Chemical Plant Design, etc)
