PPG Industries in Quattordio, Italy seeks a proactive Application & Equipment Engineer intern for the ATSEL team. You will support maintenance, calibration, and optimization of coating application equipment in a state-of-the-art lab environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers, chemists, and technicians, with a focus on learning, documentation, and safety under guidance. 6-month extracurricular internship with a €900 gross monthly allowance and canteen on site.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in engineering with hardware focus.
• Familiarity with diagnostic equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Experience or familiarity with PLC/robotics software (ABB, FANUC, Dürr) is a plus.

Mansioni

• Maintain and upgrade application equipment and tools in the CDL.
• Install, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance for ATSEL equipment.
• Collaborate with ATSEL team, chemists, and R&D to translate requirements into parameters.
• Ensure documentation, procedures, and safety standards are followed.
