Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Field Sales Engineer to drive the Pressure Management business in North Italy, with postings in Seregno or Padova. You will build customer relationships, expand market presence, and pursue opportunities across OEMs, integrators, and end users.

Qualifications

• Engineering background or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with valves, regulators, relief devices, tank protection equipment.
• Ability to communicate technical value to technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Proven ability to develop customer relationships and opportunities.
• Fluent Italian and English; ability to travel in North Italy.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of the North Italy market and industry trends in pressure management.
• Create and execute territory growth strategies prioritizing customer engagement and opportunity creation.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities with OEMs, integrators, end users, and other stakeholders.
• Strengthen relationships to identify upgrades, lifecycle support, and solutions.
• Collaborate with Emerson units and sales teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Conduct visits, technical discussions, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Develop relationships across technical, operational, procurement, and leadership functions.
• Manage opportunities through discovery, solution development, proposal, negotiation, and handover.
• Monitor market dynamics and competition to support decisions.
• Maintain CRM records of interactions, opportunities, and account plans.
• Partner with application specialists and inside sales for seamless customer experience.
