Vertiv in Castel Guelfo (BO), Italy is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on innovative converter architectures and components. You will collaborate with service, manufacturing and procurement to address design challenges from concept to testing.

The role requires expertise in high-power electronics, MOSFET/IGBT/SiC switches, and simulation tools, with strong documentation and cross-functional communication. Willingness to travel is a plus.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.

Mansioni

• Analyse, design and test future conversion topologies and components.
• Perform lab tests to increase technology readiness and verify performance.
• Coordinate with engineering divisions and offering to define product specifications.
• Support the testing team in creating plans and assessing results.
• Prepare technical documents, including simulation results, schematics and component specifications.
• Apply lessons learned from previous projects to new ones.
• Report progress, risks, and solutions to stakeholders and management promptly.
