Job summary

Vertiv Co seeks an experienced Plant Manager to oversee one facility within our manufacturing network in Italy. You will lead ~60 staff across three shifts, balance output with safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement through Lean practices.

The role requires a degree in engineering or related fields, significant multi‑shift leadership experience, and strong communication in English. You will collaborate across functions to sustain delivery and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing or related field preferred.
• Extensive production-management experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading multi-shift operations and frontline leaders.
• Lean manufacturing, KPI management and structured problem solving.
• Experience in mechanical/engineered-product manufacturing advantageous; English required.

Responsibilities

• Translate the production plan into daily and weekly priorities, staffing plans and shift-level execution.
• Ensure compliance with EHS requirements, quality standards, work instructions and procedures.
• Manage people, materials, equipment and workflow to achieve output, schedule adherence and delivery.
• Review Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost performance and take timely corrective action.
• Drive Lean daily management, standard work, 5S and structured problem solving.
