Job summary

Randstad Italy SpA is seeking a Photovoltaic & Battery Energy Storage Systems Solution Assistant to support the NA Sales and Solution teams from Rome. The role focuses on sales forecasting, tender coordination, contract and order management, and internal process execution.

Reporting to the NA Sales Director, you will develop technical and commercial expertise in Utility-Scale PV PV and BESS markets, enhance coordination across departments, and contribute to revenue recognition activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales support or business coordination.
• Proficient in MS Office; Excel and PowerPoint essential.
• Basic understanding of commercial processes; PV/BESS industry knowledge preferred.
• Strong organizational, time-management and communication skills.
• Fluency in Italian and English; Mandarin preferred.

Randstad Italy SpA is currently recruiting a Photovoltaic & Battery Energy Storage Systems Solution Assistant for a leading global technology company.

Reporting directly to the NA Sales Director, you will support the NA Sales and Solution teams in daily business operations, including sales forecasting, tender coordination, contract and order management, and internal process execution.

This role requires strong organizational and coordination skills, along with a genuine drive to develop technical and commercial expertise in the Utility-Scale PV Photovoltaics & Battery Energy Storage Systems industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Departmental Coordination: Organize departmental management meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and track/follow up on key action items.
• Forecasting & Reporting: Support sales forecasting activities and prepare regular performance reports for leadership.
• Internal Process Execution: Assist the sales team in organizing internal business workflows (e.g., e-Plus platform) and executing daily operational processes.
• Contract & Revenue Support: Assist with loan contract Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation, contract/Purchase Order amendments, and revenue recognition-related activities.
• Tender Process Coordination: Coordinate end-to-end tender operations, including document preparation, internal follow-ups, and final submission.

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in sales support, business coordination, or a similar administrative role is preferred.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); experience with ERP or CRM systems is an advantage.
• Commercial Knowledge: Basic understanding of commercial processes; prior knowledge of the Utility-Scale PV & BESS industry is preferred.
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking capabilities with sharp attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proactive attitude, ability to work independently, and high standards of integrity and confidentiality.
• Languages: Proficiency in Italian and English. Mandarin Chinese is highly preferred.
