Huawei Milan Research Center offers a Photonics Technologies Intern position in Vimodrone (MI). The role focuses on optical communication, photonic integrated circuits, and microwave‑over‑fiber systems. The internship (full‑time/part‑time) lasts 6 months. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in a relevant field, with hands‑on experience in photonic design,

Competenze

• Master’s degree or above in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of photonic components design and simulation.
• Familiarity with numerical and simulation tools such as COMSOL, Lumerical, Luceda.
• Ability to understand and analyze system‑level optical communication links.
• Basic understanding of laboratory environments and optical test bench setup.
• Basics of microwave‑photonic link design and simulation for high RF systems.
• Background in academic/technical competitions is highly preferred.
• Strong motivation for working in R&D environment.
