Huawei Milan Research Center is seeking a Silicon Photonics Design Expert to lead silicon photonic chip architecture definition and drive breakthroughs in optoelectronic integration for next-generation optical communication systems. You will work in a fast-paced international team engaged in state-of-the-art research and innovation.

Competenze

• At least 5 years of silicon photonic design experience.
• Proficient in active and passive optical design and high-speed signal integrity.
• Experience in high-density optoelectronic integration and chip-package co-design preferred.
• Experience with silicon photonics products and advanced packaging preferred.
• Deeply understand silicon photonics technology trends and key directions.
• Fluent in English and able to travel outside Italy.

Mansioni

• Gain insight into development trends in optical communications and maintain competitiveness of silicon photonic tech in short-distance interconnection and coherent systems.
• Define silicon photonic chip architecture for high-density optoelectronic integration and multi-material systems; improve performance of active/passive components.
• Lead joint optoelectronic design including modulators/detectors with DRV/TIA; optimize signal integrity in 2.5D/3D packaging.
• Collaborate with solution, process, and packaging teams to implement architectural and technical points.
