Job summary

GEA seeks a People Partner within the Pharma & Food Application division in Italy to advise managers and act as a sparring partner at both tactical and strategic levels.

You will lead HR development, shape policies, and drive recruitment, onboarding, development and offboarding programs. A high degree of integrity and open communication is required, plus experience in an international matrix organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor (BSc) or Master (MSc) in HR Management or related field.
  • 10 years’ experience with general HR topics.
  • Hands-on mentality in an operational setting.
  • Experience in engineering/technical environments and in international matrix organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Sparring partner and coach for management at tactical and strategic level.
  • HR development; co-design of HR policies and instruments.
  • Negotiate and ensure adherence to work agreements and CAO; implement internal policies.
  • Support management with recruitment (onboarding), employee development and offboarding.
  • Education, development and career planning.
  • Define and apply working conditions; drive organization development.
  • Lead (global) HR projects.

The People Partner for GEA BU EFT acts as an advisor and sparring partner for managers. The People Partner is situated within the Division “Pharma & Food Application”. He or she will report to the People Partner PFA Italy & ME.

Responsibilities / Tasks
  • Sparring partner and coach for the management at tactical and strategic level.
  • HR development, co-responsible for the design of HR policies and instruments.
  • Negotiation, execution and checkup of work agreements, the Collective Labor Agreement (CAO) and legally defined, as well as internal, policies and arrangements.
  • Supporting the management with recruitment (onboarding), employee development and off boarding.
  • Education, development and career planning.
  • Development and application of working conditions.
  • Organization development.
  • Execution of (global) HR projects.
Your Profile / Qualifications
  • You hold a bachelor (BSc) or master (MSc) degree in or related to Human Resources Management.
  • You have 10 years’ experience with general HR themes.
  • You have a hands‑on mentality and like to be part of the operational dynamics.
  • You have relevant experience in an engineering and technical environment, (plus) part of an international matrix organization or in global industries with a production.
  • You have a high sense of integrity and open communication.
  • You have experience with labor relations and a solid understanding of the Collective Labor Agreement.
  • You have a structured way of working; analytical skills and you are a real initiator.
  • Your Italian and English language skills are excellent (C1-C2).
What We Offer

The position falls under the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry, with job classification and level to be defined based on the candidate’s experience and skills.

The indicative gross annual salary range for this role is between €50,000 and €70,000 , depending on experience, technical expertise, level of autonomy, and market alignment.

The overall compensation package may also include variable components and additional company benefits, which will be discussed during the selection process.
