Job summary

Lexroom Srl in Milan is seeking a People Business Partner to lead the people agenda across a client group. The role is full-time, hybrid (3 days in office in Milan), with occasional travel to European offices. You will partner with leaders to grow teams, run performance and compensation cycles, and coach managers through tough conversations.

You will also shape organisational design, manage employee relations, and provide strategic context to HR and Talent teams as Lexroom scales across Europe.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in HR, including at least 1 as an HR or People Business Partner with your own client group.
• End-to-end performance and compensation cycles run.
• Hands-on employee relations experience and knowledge of Italian labour law.
• Comfort using AI tools in daily work.
• Fluent Italian and English.

The role

You’ll partner a group of teams across Lexroom and report to our Head of People. Your managers will bring you their hardest people questions: how to grow their teams, keep their best people, handle difficult conversations, pay fairly, and organise their teams as they scale.

Every Lexroom employee has two People contacts. People Operations takes care of contracts, payroll and admin. You take care of everything about managing, growing and keeping people.

We’re also running our core HR cycles for the first time, so you’ll help design them as well as run them.

What you’ll do

• Own the people agenda for your client group

• Shape how your teams are organised as they grow: structures, roles, reporting lines, reorgs

• Coach managers on their teams and on difficult conversations

• Handle employee relations, from probation reviews to disciplinary matters

• Give Talent Acquisition and People Operations the business context they need to do their job well

• Turn what you see and hear into clear insights for the Head of People and leadership

What you bring

• 4+ years in HR, including at least 1 as an HR or People Business Partner with your own client group

• Performance and compensation cycles run end to end

• Hands-on employee relations experience and a working knowledge of Italian labour law

• Comfort using AI tools in your daily work

• Fluent Italian and English

Nice to have

• A background in Talent Acquisition or People Operations before business partnering

• Experience partnering sales or commercial teams

• Org design or reorganisation experience

• Client groups in more than one country

• Other European languages
