Generative Bionics is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to oversee the full payroll lifecycle and personnel administration in our Genoa-based team. You will ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance while supporting employees and stakeholders in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

The role requires 5+ years of payroll experience, strong knowledge of Italian labor law, and expertise with Zucchetti HR solutions.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, economics, business administration, labor law or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of payroll administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Italian payroll processes, labor law, tax and social security regulations.
• Experience with CCNLs, ideally including CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria.
• Hands-on Zucchetti HR solutions experience (Paghe Infinity, Presenze Infinity, Z-Travel).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Fluent Italian and good English skills.

Role

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage payroll and personnel administration activities, ensuring compliance with labor, tax, and social security regulations. The role involves overseeing the full payroll lifecycle, supporting employees and stakeholders, and ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and operational excellence in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process, including payroll inputs, attendance data, variable compensation, absences, bonuses, benefits, payroll validation, and discrepancy resolution;
• Coordinate with external payroll providers and labor consultants, ensuring compliance with Italian labor law, tax regulations, social security obligations, INPS, INAIL, CU, fiscal reconciliations, and CCNL requirements;
• Manage employee benefits and supplementary schemes, including healthcare and welfare programs;
• Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and internal stakeholders on payroll, compensation, and benefits-related matters;
• Maintain accurate personnel administration records and support payroll-related reporting activities;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement, efficiency, and digitalization of HR and payroll processes;

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Economics, Business Administration, Labor Law, or a related field;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll administration and personnel management;
• Strong knowledge of Italian payroll processes, labor law, tax, and social security regulations;
• Experience managing different employee populations and applying multiple CCNLs, ideally including CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria;
• Hands-on experience with Zucchetti HR solutions, particularly Paghe Infinity, Presenze Infinity, and Z-Travel; knowledge of additional payroll, time & attendance, and HR management systems is a plus;
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical capabilities, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;
• High level of autonomy, reliability, and ownership;
• Fluent Italian and a good command of English;

• Experience within Labor Consulting Firms (Studi di Consulenza del Lavoro);
• Previous exposure to manufacturing, engineering, technology, robotics, or industrial environments;
• Advanced knowledge of the Zucchetti HR Suite and related modules;
• Experience with labor cost analysis, budgeting, reporting, and workforce planning;
• Professional certifications or specialized training in payroll, labor law, or personnel administration;
