Job summary

Alpitronic, headquartered in Bolzano, Italy, seeks a seasoned professional to drive partnerships and strategy for cashless payment solutions in the e-mobility space. You will guide market insights, collaborate with PM, Service, Legal, and Procurement to ensure a lifecycle partner approach, and support product management across the lifecycle.

The role requires a master’s in engineering or management and strong English/Italian/German language skills, with experience in payment terminals and OCPP.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in electronics/automation/electrical engineering or management engineering.
• Several years of experience in payment terminals or payment acceptance, including unattended payments.
• Knowledge of EV charging and AFIR requirements.
• Strong understanding of acquirer/PSP business models and international payment standards.
• Familiarity with OCPP and charger integration.
• Foundations of Product and Project Management; experience in partnerships and supplier management.
• English, with German and/or Italian as a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor market evolution and customer needs for credit card terminals and payment solutions.
• Define partnerships with key suppliers to support product lifecycle from introduction to end-of-life.
• Scout emerging technologies and innovations for cashless solutions with PM and R&D.
• Monitor payment terminal regulations and participate in technical committees as needed.
• Support PM in training sales and related teams on cashless topics.
• Assist PM with product lifecycle evolution from requirements to release and deployment.

Job description

Your Responsibilities

• Monitor and understand market evolution and customer needs related to credit card terminals and payment solutions, in collaboration with Product Management
• Steer the definition of partnerships with key suppliers, aiming at ensuring a lifecycle partner support, from new product introduction, procurement, service, SW updates and end-of-life, together with key teams (Product Management, Service, Legal, Procurement, Quality)
• Scout emerging technologies and innovation regarding cashless solutions, from, assessing opportunities or anticipating threats related to technology revolution, in collaboration with Product Management and R&D
• Actively monitor key Payment Terminal industry regulation, joining technical committees when needed and ensuring a proper cascading to Product Management and dissemination in the company
• Support Product Management in training of sales forces and related teams on Cashless topics to ensure a proper dissemination and shared understanding of key elements
• Upon need, support Product Management key operations over the product lifecycle evolution (from requirements definition to product release and on-field deployment)

Your Qualifications & Skills

• Master's degree in electronics/automation/electrical engineering disciplines or management engineering
• Several years of experience in payment terminals or payment acceptance with experience with unattended payments
• Knowledge of EV charging and AFIR requirements
• Strong understanding of acquirer/PSP business models; familiarity with international payment standards and regulations
• Familiarity with OCPP and charger integration
• Fundamentals of Product Management and Project Management, with experience in partnership and suppliers management
• Excellent knowledge of English, German and/or Italian are a plus
