Job summary

Experimental Roma is seeking a Pastry Chef to manage a high-end pastry operation within a luxury venue. You will lead and motivate a pastry team, deliver exceptional desserts, and uphold HACCP standards while collaborating with senior culinary leadership.

You will drive dessert development, update menus, and ensure consistency and quality across all pastry offerings in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Graduated in pastry arts; significant experience in a similar role, preferably luxury establishments.
• Strong leadership; motivates and unites a team; patient teaching.
• Excellent manager with cost control, data analysis, and productivity optimization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee smooth running of pastry service and teams.
• Assist Head Chef with desserts development and menu updates.
• Ensure dessert quality meets high standards and HACCP compliance.
• Lead recruitment, training, and professional development of pastry staff.
• Coordinate with suppliers; monitor deliveries and invoicing.
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized workstation and attire.
