Experimental Roma is seeking a Pastry Chef de Partie to lead dessert production in a vibrant, design-forward hospitality group. You will prepare bases, execute recipes, and craft desserts in alignment with the menu and special orders, while maintaining high hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or similar role.
• Excellent knowledge and mastery of pastry techniques, products and equipment.
• Well-organized and efficient with a passion for gastronomy.
• Meticulous in following procedures and hygiene standards.

The property features 82 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, and a spectacular rooftop with a suspended pool offering breathtaking views over the magnificent cityscape of Rome.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Pastry Chef de Partie (M/F), your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare preliminary ingredients and bases.
• Execute recipes following technical sheets.
• Prepare desserts according to the menu and special orders.
• Check preparations (tasting, analysis, and adjustments).
• Store ingredients following the establishment’s prescribed methods.
• Receive and verify deliveries, both quantitatively and qualitatively.
• Apply current hygiene and safety regulations.
• Wear professional attire in accordance with hygiene and safety standards.

ABOUT YOU

You have proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or in a similar role.

You have excellent knowledge and mastery of pastry techniques, products, and equipment.

You are well-organized, efficient, and passionate about gastronomy.

You are meticulous in following procedures and technical sheets and have a solid understanding of hygiene standards.

You are available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
