Job summary

New Start Germany GmbH invites applications for a Chef de Partie – Pastry (m/f/d) for Summer Season 2027 in Italy. You will independently prepare desserts, cakes, tarts, and pastries for restaurant and hotel service.

Experience in upscale gastronomy or hotel operations is ideal. Accommodation and meals are provided; you will work in an international, motivated team with long-term development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as a pastry chef or chef focusing on patisserie.
• Experience in upscale gastronomy or hotel operations.
• Creative, precise work with high quality standards.
• Team-oriented, resilient, and flexible in shift work.
• Proficiency in German, English, or Italian at B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Independent preparation of desserts, cakes, tarts, and pastries for restaurant and hotel service.
• Accurate execution of classic and modern recipes from Italian and international patisserie.
• Ensuring quality, freshness, and appealing presentation.
• Organization and cleanliness of your station in compliance with HACCP standards.
• Close cooperation with the kitchen team for events and buffets.
• Supporting the onboarding of new team members.
