Joybuy is expanding its Pan-EU Book category team in Milan, Italy. The Senior Category Manager will define Europe-wide strategies, manage key publisher negotiations, and optimize inventory and pricing across markets.

The role emphasizes cross-border operations, EU compliance, and close collaboration with marketing and supply chain. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in category management or related fields, strong English, and experience with cross-border platforms.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree or higher; MBA preferred.
8+ years in category management, marketing, or e-commerce in consumer goods, media, or publishing.
Deep understanding of European book retail markets and standards.
Strong Excel/BI analytics to drive assortment and pricing.
Experience managing cross-border platforms (Amazon, Zalando) is a plus.

Mansioni

Define annual and mid- to long-term Book category strategy across Europe.
Lead commercialization with publishers to secure exclusive editions and rights.
Forecast inventory for title launches and optimize cross-border logistics.
Collaborate with marketing on themed lists and reader events; improve recommendations.
