Joybuy seeks a Pan-EU Senior Category Manager for the Books category based in Rome, Italy. You will define annual and longer-term strategy across Europe, own revenue, gross margin, inventory health, and net profit, coordinating with publishing houses and cross-border operations.

You will lead country-specific assortment and pricing, drive negotiations with major publishers, ensure EU compliance, forecast inventory for launches, and collaborate with marketing and tech to optimize recommendations

Competenze

• 8+ years in category management, marketing, or e‑commerce in consumer goods, media, or publishing.
• At least 3 years in a team leadership role for books or related content products.
• Deep understanding of European book retail markets and BISAC/Thema classification standards.
• Strong analytical skills with Excel/BI to analyze sales attribution and optimization.
• Experience managing book categories on cross-border platforms (Amazon, Zalando) is highly preferred.

• Own execution for revenue, gross margin, inventory health, and net profit across multiple countries.
• Lead negotiations with international publishers and secure exclusive editions and rights for timely digital releases.
