Job summary

Enterprise Shipping Agency in Sorrento is seeking a Night Porter / Night Receptionist to manage front desk operations during overnight hours, welcome guests, handle late check-ins, and assist with overnight requests. The role requires English proficiency, familiarity with hotel management software, strong communication, and the ability to work independently and calmly through unexpected situations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel industry.
• Good English; other languages are a plus.
• Familiarity with hotel management software and basic computer applications.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility, discretion, and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and handle unexpected situations.
• Availability to work overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage reception and front desk operations during the night shift.
• Welcome guests and handle late check-ins and early check-outs.
• Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and overnight issues.
• Monitor access and ensure safety and security.
• Handle calls, reservations, and guest communications.
• Perform daily closing and basic administrative tasks when required.
• Prepare handover reports for the morning shift.
