Responsibilities

• Help maintain procurement data and contribute to process improvements.
• Contribute to facilities maintenance planning and related reporting.

ROLE SUMMARY:

Inspired Education Group is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Intern to join our Operations team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on exposure to both Procurement and Facilities Management , supporting the day‑to‑day operations of a leading international education group.

The role is designed for a recent graduate or final‑year student who is eager to understand how purchasing processes, supplier management, and facility operations come together to support a multi‑site organisation.

Working closely with the Operations team, you will contribute to activities across our network of schools while developing valuable analytical, organisational, and project management skills.

This internship follows a structured two‑phase development path: the first focused on Procurement , providing exposure to purchasing processes and supplier management, and the second dedicated to Facilities Management , supporting maintenance planning and operational improvement initiatives. This approach offers a well‑rounded understanding of both functions and their role in supporting a multi‑site organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Procurement Support

• Support the creation and processing of purchase orders within the company's procurement system.
• Manage data entry activities, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of procurement records.
• Assist with goods receipt processes and related documentation.
• Support invoice verification activities, identifying and investigating discrepancies between purchase orders, goods received, and supplier invoices.
• Help maintain procurement data and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Facilities Support

• Contribute to the review and enhancement of preventive maintenance plans while supporting the collection, organisation and analysis of maintenance‑related information and documentation.
• Help monitor maintenance activities and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
• Support reporting and project coordination activities related to facilities management.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Final‑year student or recent graduate in Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with data and administrative processes.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in Italian and confident communicating in English.
