Prysmian is seeking a Europe Accessories Buyer - Intern to join our Milan, Italy office. You will support procurement across European operations, collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and help ensure supply continuity and cost efficiency.

Ideal candidates are English-fluent students or recent grads in Economics, Business Administration, or related fields, with strong Excel and analytical skills. Hybrid work arrangement and internship status are offered.

Mansioni

• Support procurement activities across European operations and suppliers.

• Assist in invoice management and ensure timely payment with suppliers.

Your contribution to Prysmian’s Success:

We are looking for a Europe Accessories Buyer - Intern to join our office in Milan, Italy.

Reporting directly to the Europe RM Accessories Commodity Buyer, you will support procurement activities across European operations, working closely with suppliers, plants, and internal stakeholders to ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and process efficiency.

You will:

• Support buyers in managing supplier relationships and daily procurement activities.
• Assist in the preparation and management of RFQs (Requests for Quotation), including supplier communication, offer comparison, and commercial analysis.
• Provide SAP support by creating and maintaining raw material master data, purchase orders, and procurement contracts, ensuring data accuracy and process compliance.
• Support invoice management activities, monitoring payment status, resolving invoice blocks, and coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely payment.
• Maintain and update vendor master data, ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and consistency of supplier information within company systems.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and open orders, supporting the resolution of supply and operational issues.
• Prepare procurement reports, data analyses, and presentations to support sourcing decisions and cost optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Finance, and Manufacturing, to support procurement projects and continuous improvement activities.

• Ensuring accurate follow-up of supplier commitments and delivery schedules.

You are the right fit if you have/are:

• Fluent in English
• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related fields (ongoing or recently completed).

Technical requirements:

Must Have:

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work with data and prepare reports.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of SAP.
• Previous internship experience in procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing environments.
