Job summary

Avvale is seeking a motivated Procurement Operations Intern to join our P-Orders Team in a hybrid setup in Italy. You will support purchasing processes, manage POs and PRs, and assist with supplier data within a structured international environment.

You will work on SAP Fiori, collaborate with Procurement, Project Management and Administration, and develop analytical and organizational skills during the 6‑month internship with a gross monthly allowance of €800 plus meal vouchers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in Economics, Law, or related field.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in an international environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Hybrid internship with on-site 1–2 days per week.

Role and responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated Procurement Operations Intern to join our P-Orders Team. In this role, you will support operational activities related to the purchasing process, gaining hands‑on experience in procurement operations within a structured business environment.

As part of the team, you will:

• Support the management of purchase orders (POs);
• Monitor purchase requisitions (PRs) and follow up on their progress;
• Assist with administrative activities related to suppliers, including supplier master data management;
• Collaborate with different business functions, including Procurement, Project Management, and Administration;
• Gain familiarity with key company tools and systems, such as SAP Fiori;
• Contribute to the smooth and efficient management of purchasing processes, developing organizational and administrative skills.
• Diploma; a degree in Economics, Law, or a related field is considered a plus;
• Good analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail;
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a dynamic international environment;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
• Good command of English (written and spoken);
• This internship follows a hybrid working model, with an expectation to work on-site 1–2 days per week
