Job summary

BearingPoint offers a 6-month internship in Sourcing & Procurement in Milan or Turin with hybrid work arrangements. The role pays €1,000 gross per month.

You will design procurement models, lead eProcurement vendor selections (JAGGAER/Ivalua/Coupa), and develop spend-management solutions while supporting client objectives in Italy and beyond.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in management/engineering or economics related fields.
• Interest in sourcing, procurement and process implications.
• Ability to work autonomously with strong analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork in a multinational setting.
• Fluent Italian and proficient English; other languages a plus.

Join Our Dynamic Team as an Intern!

Are you ready to make a difference? We're offering a 6‑month internship for an enthusiastic new colleague to join our Sourcing & Procurement area.

Location: Milan or Turin (Hybrid) | € Salary: 1,000 euro gross per month

What will you do?

• Designing procurement operating models and processes, transitioning from classical to digital approaches.
• Leading eProcurement technology vendor selections, implementation and adoption with leading market solutions, such as JAGGAER, Ivalua, Coupa.
• Designing and setting up intelligent spend‑management approaches and solutions.
• Assisting our clients in achieving their vision and objectives in Italy and abroad, acting as a local advisor.
• Interacting with your team, our BearingPoint international network of Sourcing & Procurement experts, technology partners, suppliers, and clients, always working alongside your internship tutor and project team.

Who are we looking for?

• Educational Background: You have completed (or are about to complete) a Master’s Degree in Management Engineering, Computer Engineering, Economics & Management of Innovation, or related fields.
• Interest in Sourcing & Procurement: You are interested in or have a basic understanding of business, technology, and process implications in areas such as Source‑to‑Contract, Procure‑to‑Pay, Supplier Relationship Management, Supplier Risk Management, Contract Lifecycle Management, Governance, and Organization.
• Problem Solver: You have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and you can work autonomously.
• Communication Skills: You communicate effectively, work well in teams, and are highly motivated and proactive.
• Languages: You can communicate effectively in both Italian and English (other European languages are a plus).
• Passion for Innovation: You are enthusiastic about new technology trends and eager to learn.
• Travel Availability: You are open to business travel.
• Tech‑Savvy: You have interest in eProcurement technology (JAGGAER, Ivalua, Coupa, Prewave, Docusign CLM).
