Job summary

Sungrow Europe in Milan is looking for an O&M Engineer to own service delivery for PV and BESS across Italy and the Balkans. You will troubleshoot remotely, plan on-site interventions, produce RCAs, run maintenance campaigns, manage tickets and invoicing, and work with AI tools like Power BI to monitor performance and SLA compliance.

This role requires Italian C2 and English B2, 3+ years in O&M, and willingness to travel about 50%.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Energy Engineering or equivalent experience as electrical technician.
3+ years in O&M, field service or commissioning for PV/BESS.
Italian C2 and English B2 required; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

Be the first line of remote troubleshooting on inverters, PCS, batteries, EMS and SCADA.
Plan and guide on-site interventions with Field Service Engineers and service partners.
Develop clear RCAs and technical reports that support warranty and contractual decisions.
Plan preventive maintenance campaigns, manage tickets end to end, and deliver monthly KPI reports.
Follow up on contract invoicing and service partner invoices, and coordinate partners across Italy and the Balkans.
Support the review of LTSA and SLA contracts, and keep service quality high with AI and data tools such as Power BI and CRM.
