Job summary

AVA Energy is seeking a Senior PV & BESS Project Manager to support utility-scale renewable energy initiatives in the Bologna area. The role involves managing PV and BESS projects through EPC construction, coordinating contractors and site teams, and ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of PV project experience, with EPC construction exposure, strong planning and budget skills, and fluent Italian and English.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience managing PV projects (ideally including BESS).
• Experience supporting or managing EPC construction activities and site operations.
• Strong understanding of project planning, budget control, contractor management and H&S requirements.
• Fluent in both Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage PV and BESS projects throughout the EPC construction and delivery phases.
• Coordinate EPC contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, costs and progress against milestones.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
• Manage client communications, resolve technical and operational issues, and report on project performance.
