Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Milan is seeking a Night Chef de Rang to join the Room Service team, delivering exceptional in-room dining experiences during nighttime hours. You will work closely with the Room Service Manager and Night Manager to uphold the brand’s standards of service and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in luxury settings, fluency in Italian and English, and a flexible schedule including overnights and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a similar role within luxury hotels or high-end hospitality.
• Fluency in Italian and English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; guest-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-room service of food and beverages with high accuracy and timeliness.
• Advise and care for guests, offering excellent product and service knowledge.
• Deliver orders to rooms promptly and ensure orders are complete before presenting.
• Prepare VIP amenities and mise en place; keep Room Service area clean.
• Account for transactions at the cash register and ensure correct billing.
