Job summary

Murphy, a provider of AI voice agents for debt collection, is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to manage multiple mid-market deployments in parallel. You will configure agents from templates, tailor them to each customer, and test before launch. After go-live, you’ll monitor performance and refine strategies, improving templates for the team.

This role is based in Milan, with hybrid work options. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in a technical role, Python/TypeScript/SQL skills, and strong

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a technical role (software engineering, solutions engineering, implementation, or technical support).
• You write Python and/or TypeScript and SQL, work with APIs and handle data files.
• You value structured, repeatable work and seek to automate processes.
• You manage several projects at once and keep them on schedule.
• You communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
• Native Italian and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Run multiple mid-market implementations in parallel from kickoff to go-live.
• Configure and adapt agents from templates to each customer’s policies and tone.
• Define when we reach debtors: call windows, retries, and channel mix within regulations.
• Set up data imports/exports via standard integration flows.
• Test agents with simulations before launch and fix issues.
• Analyze production performance and share insights with customers.
• Develop templates, scripts, or tooling to reduce repeated work.
• Help shape standard workflows for each segment and hand over live customers.
