EssilorLuxottica in Veneto is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and review procedures and equipment used in the manufacturing process. You will study automation techniques, test new systems for efficiency, and plan factory layouts to optimize production.

You will apply your knowledge of science and math to construct the most streamlined method of component and parts distribution, manage inventory and material flow, and help define infrastructure to maximize cost efficiency.

Competenze

  • Degree in Engineering.
  • 2–3 years of experience in complex environments with similar roles such as Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer or Continuous Improvement Engineer.
  • Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships and work under pressure.
  • Willingness to adapt to digitalization and information technologies.
  • Flexible and capable of handling multiple tasks in a changing environment.

Mansioni

  • Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with government laws and regulations.
  • Analyze production processes, schedules, methods, and data and provide leaders with reports for future requirements (OEE, cycle time, balancing).
  • Review and calculate labor, material and other production costs to assist management decisions.

ENVISION YOUR FUTURE JOB

The Manufacturing Engineering is responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing the procedures and equipment involved in the manufacturing process. Their duties include but are not limited on researching automation techniques, testing new systems for efficiency and planning factory layouts to optimize production.

As Manufacturing Engineering you will use your knowledge of science and math to construct the most streamlined, efficient method of components and parts distribution possible. You will handle inventory, process orders, plan warehouse and material flow layouts and help define and design material flow, infrastructure to maximize transportation and indirect cost efficiency.

Here some responsibilities you will have:
  • Ensure that the Company’s manufacturing processes are in compliance with all government laws and regulations
  • Analyze production processes, schedules, methods, and other data and then provide business leaders with reports containing the data and statistics to enable them to better understand future requirements needed for the manufacturing process. Process measurement (OEE, capabilities, cycle time, balancing, desaturation)
  • Review and calculate labor, material, and other production costs along with reviewing schedules and future production requirements to assist management in decision making
  • Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency.

PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE
  • You have a Degree inEngineering
  • You have at least 2-3years ofexperience in complex environments with similar roles, esuch asManufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer
  • You have knowledge onLean andSix Sigma
  • You are able to establish and maintain excellent relationships
  • You are capable of working under pressure, of working on several tasks simultaneously, and of delivering tasks on time
  • You are oriented to digitalization and information technologies
  • You are a flexible person, able to adapt in a contest of constant change
