EssilorLuxottica in Rovereto, Italy seeks a Production Manager to lead a highly complex Manufacturing Department, ensuring top quality and KPI-driven performance. You will oversee production programming, OEE/quality KPIs, and cost-control through maintenance and materials management.

The role demands a Master’s in engineering with 5–7 years in manufacturing, strong leadership, Lean methods and problem-solving, plus ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Competenze

• Master degree in Mechanical or Materials or Industrial Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in complex manufacturing environments (Manufacturing/Production/Operations).
• Knowledge of the main mechanical and chemical processes.
• Project Management and Lean Production.
• Knowledge of the productive and non-productive KPIs of a business unit.
• IT & numerical skills and reporting.
• Ability to multitask across multiple tasks.
• Strong People Management skills and adaptability to change.
• Focus on safety and environmental procedures.

As Production Manager you will have the opportunity to experience what it is like to manage a highly complex Manufacturing Department, assuring excellent quality standards.

Main responsibilities:

• Management of the efficiency and OEE KPIs
• Production Programming, detection of deviations and taking management actions in order to guarantee the required levels;
• Management of quality KPIs
• Knowledge and application of delegation mechanism.
• Responsible of the quality of the parts produced in his Shop.
• Critical reading of indicators regarding the cost of auxiliary materials (costs of maintenance, costs of indirect materials, costs of scrap,…);
• Advanced knowledge of work cycles and methods
• Contribution to the definition of the surface treatment’s area budget
• Knowledge of specific procedures, organizational and management references in order to cope with the environmental emergences.
• Knowledge of the operative modalities for interventions regarding safety at work or with significant potential risk.

PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE

• You have aMaster Degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• You have at least 5-7years ofexperience in complex environments as Manufacturing Engineer, Production Manager, Operation Manager,Unit Manager or similar roles
• Knowledge of the main mechanical and chemical processes
• Project Management and Lean Production
• Knowledge of the productive and non-productive KPIs of a business unit
• IT & numerical Skills
