EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist in Lauriano, Italy. You will define and promote continuous improvement projects for methods and technologies in the Frames production plant, focusing on capability, OEE, quality, and service levels.

You will analyze production processes, implement standardization, and collaborate with Automation to address critical process needs while supporting new product introductions and equipment ramp-ups.

Competenze

• 1–4 years of project management experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Advanced Excel skills and data-driven problem solving.

Mansioni

• Provide technical support to improve technology, processes, and equipment reliability to support capacity, capability, and improvements to deliver service and quality results.
• Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources.
• Propose upgrades to systems and processes with new technology or materials.
• Develop manufacturing and testing processes for new products introduction.
• Provide day-to-day manufacturing support and translate knowledge to functional groups and training requirements.
• Apply lean and six sigma methods to improve machine performance.
• Assist in defining new equipment characteristics, introduction and ramp-up.
• Support standardization of processes and materials across shifts.
• Collaborate with quality to develop quality control plans required to sustain operations and deliver product results.
• Apply problem solving techniques to drive continuous improvement on process and equipment.
• Develop procedures and methods to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
• Collaborate with contractors and suppliers.
• Benchmark with other Luxottica plants to boost standardization.
