Job summary

dnata Catering & Retail, part of the Emirates Group, seeks a Maintenance & Facility Coordinator for Cardano al Campo. You will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, manage assets in CMMS, and drive improvements across multiple sites.

The role requires a technical diploma and 5+ years in industrial maintenance; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. You will liaise with Unit Managers, contractors, Operations, QHSE, and support functions to ensure asset reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma with relevant maintenance experience.

• CMMS experience and data-driven maintenance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and asset protection.
• Manage maintenance planning, work orders, asset records, and documentation within CMMS.
• Monitor equipment performance, analyse failures, and support corrective actions.
• Coordinate contractors and suppliers, ensuring quality, timelines, and SLAs.
• Organise and support technical audits, track findings, and close gaps.
• Provide operational coordination across multiple sites with maintenance teams and other functions.
• Promote standardized maintenance processes, reporting, KPIs, and cross-site knowledge sharing.

The Maintenance & Facility Coordinator is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, asset management, technical documentation, supplier performance, and facility-related projects across multiple sites. The role ensures the reliability, availability, and protection of company assets by supporting preventive and corrective maintenance programs, standardizing maintenance practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Coordinator acts as the primary operational link between maintenance teams, Unit Managers, contractors, Operations, QHSE, and other support functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, asset protection, and operational continuity.
• Manage maintenance planning, work orders, asset records, technical inventories, and documentation within the CMMS.
• Monitor equipment performance, analyse failures and recurring issues, and support the implementation of corrective and improvement actions.
• Coordinate maintenance contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality standards, timelines, and service level expectations.
• Organise and support technical audits, track findings and corrective actions, and ensure timely closure of identified gaps.
• Provide operational coordination across multiple sites, working closely with Maintenance Teams, Unit Managers, Operations, QHSE, and external contractors.
• Promote standardised maintenance processes, reporting, KPIs, and best practices while supporting cross-site knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Technical Diploma with relevant maintenance experience; a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, facilities management, or technical operations environments.
• Experience coordinating maintenance activities, contractors, and suppliers, ideally within multi-site operations.
• Exposure to food production, catering, manufacturing, logistics, or temperature-controlled environments is considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, utility, and production equipment systems.
• Experience using CMMS systems and analysing maintenance performance, equipment reliability, and asset data.
• Strong planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate activities across different functions and locations.

Package: National Collective Agreement for Air Transport (Catering Section) – Salary: 35-42-000€ + ticket restaurant 7€
