Job summary

Maison Margiela, part of the OTB group, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving commercial performance, developing the team and delivering an exceptional client experience.

You will lead by example on the sales floor, coach staff, manage onboarding and performance reviews, monitor KPIs, and ensure stock and store operations run smoothly.

Fluency in Italian and English is required, with a passion for fashion and a commitment to outstanding client service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in luxury fashion retail.
• Previous roles as Team Leader, Supervisor or Assistant Store Manager.
• Strong leadership, coaching and team engagement skills.
• Commercial mindset with ability to analyse KPIs and translate insights into actions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; able to manage conflicts professionally.
• Highly organised with ability to prioritise in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with CRM tools, clienteling and store operations.
• Fluency in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in leading the team and building a culture of performance, client excellence and engagement.
• Coach and motivate team members through feedback and development plans.
• Participate in onboarding and performance reviews, addressing development needs.
• Promote collaboration and resolve conflicts constructively.
• Achieve sales targets by monitoring KPIs and implementing action plans.
• Oversee stock management, inventories and store operations.
• Build lasting client relationships through personalised service and clienteling.
• Lead by example in selling, styling and client loyalty practices.
