Mandarin Oriental, Rome is seeking a experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee daily procurement for the luxury hotel, ensuring timely sourcing of goods and services in line with quality standards.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, control costs, and supervise the purchasing team to support seamless daily operations and the opening of this premium Rome property.

Competenze

• 4–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain within luxury hospitality or related industry.
• Experience in a purchasing supervisory or management role in a hotel environment.
• Strong commercial awareness with supplier management, cost control and contract administration.
• Excellent negotiation, organizational and relationship-building skills.

Mansioni

• Oversee day-to-day purchasing activities of the hotel and ensure efficiency, accuracy and policy compliance.
• Source goods and services meeting requirements, budget and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers for service excellence and cost savings.
• Obtain competitive quotations and support contract negotiations to maximize value.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements and cost savings.
