Mandarin Oriental, Rome seeks an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations across all dining outlets, in-room dining, banqueting and events. You will drive the culinary vision, ensure exceptional quality, creativity and financial performance, and inspire a high‑performing team to deliver memorable dining experiences that reflect Mandarin Oriental standards.

You will report to the Hotel Manager and collaborate with senior leadership to maintain luxury hospitality excellence and guest

Competenze

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive culinary leadership experience within luxury hotels, resorts or renowned standalone restaurants.
• Proven success leading large, high‑performing culinary teams in a luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong experience managing multiple restaurant concepts and high‑volume food production.

Mansioni

• Lead and oversee all culinary operations across restaurants, bars, in-room dining, banqueting and events.
• Develop and execute the hotel's culinary strategy, ensuring innovation and consistent dining experiences.
• Drive excellence in food quality, presentation and guest satisfaction while maintaining Mandarin Oriental standards.
• Mentor and develop a talented culinary team through coaching and performance management.
• Monitor food trends and guest preferences to continuously enhance menus and dining concepts.
• Manage food cost, labour cost and kitchen productivity to achieve budgetary objectives.
• Oversee purchasing, supplier relationships and product sourcing for quality and cost control.
• Ensure all food production and storage comply with food safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and equipment standards across kitchen facilities.
