Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is seeking a Restaurant Manager (Maitre) in Rome to lead the F&B outlet, ensuring outstanding guest service and profitability across restaurant, lounge and room service.

You will organize the team, supervise service, and uphold brand standards while planning menus and upselling opportunities. Fluency in the local language and English knowledge are valued; you will participate in budgeting and staff development.

Competenze

• F&B supervisory experience in hotel chains or related industries.
• Vocational training in hospitality/F&B.
• Fluency in local language; knowledge of English is valuable.
• Proficient with MS Office, TMS and POS systems.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• High level of commercial awareness and sales capabilities.
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to recognize and resolve problems efficiently.

Mansioni

• Manage day-to-day operations of the F&B outlet (restaurant, lounge, room service).
• Organize, coordinate and assign activities, shifts of restaurant staff.
• Supervise service for all F&B team members under responsibilities.
• Ensure all team members know products and services available.
• Communicate with hotel commercial department and execute plans.
• Participate in menu planning with quality criteria.
• Supervise event setup and room layouts per commercial input.
• Maintain direct contact with guests to meet expectations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of frequent guests and preferences.
• Handle guest feedback and develop action plans.
• Develop procedures for F&B quality management.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and increase F&B income.
• Control costs and assist in annual budget preparation.
• Recruit, interview and train team members.
• Provide supervision, feedback and recognition to staff.
• Ensure health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
