MEININGER Roma Termini is seeking an Assistant Hotel Manager to lead daily operations, guest service, and team coordination in a busy Rome hotel. The role requires hands-on leadership and a passion for hospitality.

You will manage staffing, budgets, and performance, collaborating with departments and the Berlin HQ to deliver consistent service. Fluency in Italian and English is preferred; willingness to travel is a plus.

Competenze

• At least 2 years of experience in hospitality.
• Work experience in Italy is a plus.
• Inspirational leadership and joy in leading a diverse, motivated team.
• Solution-driven mentality with entrepreneurial thinking.
• Understanding of KPIs, budgeting, and operational performance.
• Proficiency in MS Office and front office systems (Sihot, Fidelio).
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
• Excellent communication skills in Italian & English, any additional language is a plus.
• A desire to travel occasionally.

Mansioni

• Oversee all operational tasks in the hotel, including recruitment, reporting, and budget planning.
• Ensure top service by optimizing staff schedules.
• Coordinate with MEININGER HQ in Berlin across HR, Finance, and Revenue Management.
• Directly lead the team of assistant managers and reception staff.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for colleagues and guests.
• Set long- and mid-term goals and motivate the team through feedback and development discussions.
• Ensure health, hygiene and safety standards are followed.
