Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Milan is seeking a Chef de Partie to join the Kitchen Department in Milan. You will be responsible for the quality of food and supporting colleagues, reporting to the Executive Sous Chef.

You will maintain high standards in food production, ensure adherence to safety policies, and contribute to a collaborative, luxury service environment in a two-Michelin-starred setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess a globally-recognised culinary qualification.
• Hard-working and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; able to work across all shifts.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hotel kitchen experience, with supervisory exposure.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to maintain luxury hotel kitchen standards.
• Ensure high quality of all food production and presentation.
• Adhere to Food Safety and Health & Safety policies at all times.
• Perform other duties as required by the department head.
• Assist in supervising shifts and supporting junior staff.
