Job summary

Four Seasons is seeking an Hotel Assistant Manager for Hotel Danieli, Venice, to oversee daily Front Office, Guest Experience, and Concierge operations, ensuring a seamless luxury guest experience in line with Four Seasons standards.

As Manager on Duty, you will coordinate guest arrivals and special requests, lead a team, and drive interdepartmental collaboration to maintain exceptional service levels.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of luxury hospitality supervisory experience.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of Front Office operations and PMS (OPERA).

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the Front Desk, Guest Experience, and Concierge teams.
• Serve as Manager on Duty in the absence of senior management and respond to emergencies.
• Coordinate guest arrivals, departures, and special requests for personalized service.
• Interview, train, schedule, and evaluate team members to promote growth.
• Partner with Sales, Catering, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure flawless operations.
• Oversee financial and credit procedures, including paid-outs, rebates, petty cash, and billing compliance.
• Verify cashier transactions and end-of-shift reconciliations for accuracy.
• Respond to guest requests with attentiveness and personalized service.
• Handle guest complaints and sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
