Job summary

Four Seasons Venezia is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant Manager to support the leadership team in maintaining impeccable guest accommodations and public areas. You will supervise daily operations, coordinate with Front Office and Engineering, and ensure timely room readiness for a luxury guest experience.

The role requires hands‑on leadership, strong organizational and communication skills, and prior housekeeping supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel.
• Experience as a supervisor or in a leadership role.
• Degree or diploma in Hotel Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily housekeeping operations and allocate tasks.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and presentation.
• Ensure VIP and repeat guests' preferences are addressed.
• Collaborate with Front Office and Engineering on room readiness.
• Manage inventory for linen, cleaning supplies, and amenities.
• Monitor compliance with hotel policies, grooming, and safety.
• Coach and support training and development of staff.

Housekeeping Assistant Manager

About The Role

The Housekeeping Assistant Manager supports the Housekeeping leadership team in ensuring that all guest accommodations and public areas are maintained in impeccable condition, in line with Four Seasons standards. This hands‑on role focuses on supervising daily operations, supporting the team, and coordinating with the Front Office and Engineering teams to ensure timely room readiness and exceptional guest experiences.

What You Will Do

• Assist in coordinating daily housekeeping operations, allocating tasks and supporting effective staffing and productivity.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance meet Four Seasons standards.
• Check VIP, Elite, and repeat guest rooms, ensuring that preferences and special requests are carefully addressed.
• Work closely with Front Office to prioritize room readiness and with Engineering to follow up on maintenance requirements.
• Support inventory checks and stock control for linen, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities.
• Monitor compliance with hotel policies, grooming standards, and health and safety procedures.
• Provide hands‑on guidance, coaching, and feedback to housekeeping colleagues, supporting their training and development.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping concerns, escalating issues when appropriate.

What You Bring

• Previous experience in Housekeeping within a luxury hotel, including experience as a Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
• Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and team supervision skills.
• A hands‑on approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional standards.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and support the team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of hotel operations; experience in a unionized environment is an asset.

Schedule & Location

• Full-time position based at Danieli, Venezia, a Four Seasons Hotel.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
