Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Venice is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant Manager to empower the leadership team in delivering impeccable guest accommodations and public areas. The role focuses on supervising daily operations, guiding staff, and coordinating with Front Office and Engineering to ensure timely room readiness and exceptional guest experiences.

You will oversee daily tasks, maintain high standards, and mentor colleagues to uphold Four Seasons quality.

Competenze

• Experience in Housekeeping within a luxury hotel.
• Experience as a Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
• Fluent in English and Italian.

• Coordinate daily housekeeping operations and allocate tasks to staff.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and presentation.
• Ensure VIP, Elite, and repeat guest preferences are met.

Housekeeping Assistant Manager

About the Role

The Housekeeping Assistant Manager supports the Housekeeping leadership team in ensuring that all guest accommodations and public areas are maintained in impeccable condition, in line with Four Seasons standards. This hands‑on role focuses on supervising daily operations, supporting the team, and coordinating with the Front Office and Engineering teams to ensure timely room readiness and exceptional guest experiences.

What You Will Do

• Assist in coordinating daily housekeeping operations, allocating tasks and supporting effective staffing and productivity.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance meet Four Seasons standards.
• Check VIP, Elite, and repeat guest rooms, ensuring that preferences and special requests are carefully addressed.
• Work closely with Front Office to prioritize room readiness and with Engineering to follow up on maintenance requirements.
• Support inventory checks and stock control for linen, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities.
• Monitor compliance with hotel policies, grooming standards, and health and safety procedures.
• Provide hands‑on guidance, coaching, and feedback to housekeeping colleagues, supporting their training and development.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping concerns, escalating issues when appropriate.

What You Bring

• Previous experience in Housekeeping within a luxury hotel, including experience as a Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
• Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and team supervision skills.
• A hands‑on approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional standards.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and support the team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of hotel operations; experience in a unionised environment is an asset.
