Job summary

Aman Venice located in Palazzo Papadopolo on the Grand Canal is seeking an Events Trainee to support the Events Team in planning, organization and coordination of events from inquiry through on-site execution. You will work closely with clients, partners and internal departments to document requirements, maintain briefs, and ensure flawless delivery across weddings, corporate meetings and VIP functions.

Qualifications

• Experience in events coordination or hospitality is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work across multiple departments and with external partners.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of events, including weddings, corporate meetings, social gatherings, VIP functions and special occasions.
• Assist with management of event enquiries, preparation of proposals and timely follow-up with clients and agencies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate event documentation and records (contracts, BEOs, rooming lists, function sheets, deposits).
• Assist with site inspections and client meetings, supporting the Events Manager in gathering requirements.
• Ensure all event details (timelines, set-ups, AV requirements, menus, dietary needs) are documented and communicated to relevant departments.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage, Culinary, Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering and other departments for seamless event prep and execution.
• Support coordination of external suppliers (access, deliveries, set-up, dismantling) with the Events Manager.
• Assist with on-site event operations, monitoring timelines and responding to client or guest requests.
• Support post-event follow-up and final documentation in line with company standards.
