Job summary

Aman Venice is seeking a bright and dedicated F&B Host/Hostess Trainee to support the Restaurant team across breakfast, lunch and service. You will satisfy guest needs and contribute to a memorable dining experience at the iconic Palazzo Papadopoli location in Venice.

Starting February 2027, the role emphasizes friendly guest interaction, professional grooming, and assisting in events, with additional duties including handling emails and daily opening/closing tasks.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and strong communication skills.
• Excellent presentation and grooming standards.
• Experience with Micros is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact when guests enter the dining area.
• Welcomes guests and escorts them to their table according to resort standards.
• Support F&B leadership to ensure memorable dining experiences.
• Project a positive hotel image through grooming and communication; anticipate guest needs.
• Assist in setup and breakdown of events and functions.
• Manage email communications for the team.
• Complete opening and closing responsibilities.

Join our team in Aman Venice. Set in Palazzo Papadopoli, one of the city’s eight monumental palazzos on the Grand Canal, Aman Venice embodies all that is sumptuous and sensuous about La Serenissima. Position Overview

We are looking for a bright, dedicated F&B Host/Hostess Trainee to support the Restaurant team during the breakfast, lunch and service, satisfying all guest needs and exceeding their expectations. Starting in February 2027.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact when guests enter the dining area;


• Welcomes guest according to the resort standards and escorts them to their table;


• Assisting the F&B leadership team on ensuring the overall dining experience expectations of the guest are memorable;


• Satisfying guest needs and exceeding their expectations by projecting a positive hotel image through proper grooming, appropriate verbal communication, and taking responsibility of guest needs;


• Assisting in the setup and breakdown of special events and functions;


• Support the team in managing email communications;


• Completing opening & closing responsibilities.
