Job summary

Splendido, A Belmond Hotel in Portofino seeks a Concierge Agent to deliver authentic, luxury experiences with care and curiosity. You will coordinate reservations, transport, and personalized recommendations, reporting to the Head Concierge.

The role requires strong local knowledge of Portofino and the Ligurian coast, plus excellent Italian and English communication. Start date for the 2027 season; seasonal Labour contract with opportunities for continued collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Concierge in a luxury hotel or similar environment.
• Excellent knowledge of Portofino, the Ligurian coast and local attractions.
• An established network of local contacts (restaurants, transport, tours).
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with guests.
• Proactive, anticipatory approach to service and discretionary handling.
• Discretion and high professionalism are essential.
• Fluency in Italian and English; knowledge of other major languages is valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive recommendations on local attractions, dining, shopping and events.
• Make reservations and arrangements for restaurants, transportation, excursions and spa services.
• Maintain a network of local contacts to secure access and exceptional experiences.
• Handle guest inquiries with discretion and efficiency.
• Provide accurate information on hotel services, facilities and local events.
• Manage guest mail, messages and packages with care.
• Record guest preferences for personalized service during stays.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Housekeeping and F&B to ensure seamless delivery.
