Job summary

Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, Portofino, seeks a Concierge Agent for the 2027 season to deliver authentic, luxury experiences. Reporting to the Head Concierge, you will arrange dining, transport, tours, and spa services, while building an extensive local network for guests.

You will manage guest inquiries with discretion, maintain personal preferences, and coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and F&B to ensure flawless service during stays in one of the world’s most iconic destinations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as Concierge in luxury hotel or similar environment
• Fluency in Italian and English required; other languages valued

• Make reservations and arrangements for restaurants, transportation, excursions, spa treatments, and bespoke services

We are looking for the next season 2027, a Concierge Agent to join our Front of the House team.

The ideal candidate is willing to provide authentic, luxury experiences in world-renowned destinations to our guests, demonstrating care, confidence and curiosity.

He/She will Report to the Head Concierge.

• Provide comprehensive and insightful recommendations on local attractions, dining, shopping, cultural events, and hidden gems.
• Skillfully make reservations and arrangements for restaurants, transportation (taxis, private cars, boats), excursions, spa treatments, and other bespoke services.
• Maintain an extensive network of contacts with local businesses, vendors, and service providers to secure preferred access and exceptional experiences for guests.
• Handle guest inquiries and requests with the utmost professionalism, discretion, and efficiency, no matter how unique or challenging.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information on hotel services, facilities, and local events.
• Manage guest mail, messages, and packages with care and precision.
• Maintain a detailed log of guest preferences and special requests to ensure a highly personalized service experience during current and future stays.
• Collaborate closely with all hotel departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B) to ensure seamless communication and exceptional service delivery.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Concierge Agent in a luxury hotel or similar high-end hospitality environment;
• Exceptional knowledge of Portofino, the Ligurian coast, and surrounding areas, including local culture, attractions, and hidden treasures;
• An established network of reliable local contacts (restaurants, transport, tours);
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and genuinely;
• A proactive, intuitive, and anticipatory approach to guest service, capable of exceeding expectations consistently;
• Impeccable organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple complex requests simultaneously;
• Discretion, diplomacy, and the ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of professionalism;
• Fluency in Italian and English is essential; knowledge of other major international languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish, Russian, Arabic) is highly valued.
• We offer seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 4, Concierge;
• Start date: March 2027 to End date: November 2027, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido and a career path;
• Salary as by CCNL + increase based on seniorirty and skill level (superminimo), separate payslip for 13°,14° and TFR;
