The Excelsior, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Florence is seeking an experienced Barman to deliver exceptional wine and beverage service to guests in a luxury setting. You will prepare and serve wine according to recipes, restock and manage stock, and ensure financial and safety procedures are followed across shifts.

Responsibilities include engaging guests with knowledgeable recommendations, maintaining a polished appearance, and supporting management in training and scheduling.

Formación

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsabilidades

• Answer guest questions or concerns regarding the origin, vintage, and style of various wines.
• Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems.
• Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles.
• Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve discrepancies.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating staff.
• Follow all company and safety policies; report accidents and injuries and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain uniform and professional appearance; protect company assets.
