Translated is seeking a Localization Quality Manager to drive quality initiatives for human and machine translation. You will define quality requirements, train linguists, and collaborate with data scientists to improve MT engine outputs.

The role involves client interactions and cross-department coordination to ensure top-quality deliverables. The position is on-site in Rome, with a salary range between €28.000 and €48.000, reflecting experience, location, and responsibilities.

Competenze

• 3+ years experience in localization with a focus on Quality Management.
• Excellent knowledge of English and preferably another language.
• Strong analytical and data-driven quality improvement skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Preferred experience teaching or training.

Mansioni

• Define quality requirements and frameworks for assigned clients for human and MT workflows.
• Develop client- or service-specific training and testing programs.
• Conduct training and improve freelancers’ performance to meet quality standards.
• Manage linguistic assets including MT, translation memories, glossaries, and style guides.
• Oversee linguists and ensure high-quality outcomes across clients.
• Analyze quality using data to drive continuous improvement.
• Present quality data and improvement plans in client reviews.
• Collaborate with PgM, PjM, AM, Data Science for efficient workflows.
