Translated Srl is seeking an Associate Localisation Quality Manager intern in Rome to support quality initiatives and collaborate with translators on top clients in the digital space.

You will assist the QM team with data extraction, testing coordination, glossary maintenance, and end-to-end task ownership, gaining hands-on experience in a multilingual environment.

The internship lasts 6 months and includes growth-focused learning, networking events, and access to internal tools and processes.

Competenze

• Degree in Linguistics, Translation Studies, Language Studies, or a related field is preferred.
• Understanding of translation, localization, or linguistic quality assurance.
• Familiarity with CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools and other translation software.
• Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
• Excellent computer and web skills focused on G-suite and Google sheets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

We are looking for an Associate Localisation Quality Manager (Internship).

We are seeking an Associate Quality Manager who will support our Quality Managers on quality initiatives and work with translators for our top clients in the digital space.

We are offering an internship role for the duration of 6 months.

Key responsibilities

• Linguist recruitment and selection for Translated’s clients: you will support QRM in vetting potential profiles for new projects and clients, as well as setting up and coordinating their testing.


• Provide support to the entire QM team for operational quality activities (including but not limited to: data extraction, clean up and analysis, preparation of internal reports, preparation of quality auditing tasks using Translated’s tech suite, glossary maintenance) requested by our Enterprise customers and take full end-to-end ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring timely, accurate execution and proactively propose improvements and alternative solutions to streamline processes.


• Linguist performance monitoring: you will use Translated’s tools and data to monitor linguists undergoing a Trial Period on one or more accounts in order to provide feedback to QMs, as well as being in direct contact with the linguists to boost engagement and motivation and provide feedback.


• Support with administrative tasks: you will provide assistance in some admin tasks such as submitting payment requests for freelancers.

Requirements

• Degree in Linguistics, Translation Studies, Language Studies, or a related field is preferred.


• Understanding of translation, localization, or linguistic quality assurance.


• Familiarity with CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools and other translation software.


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.


• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new challenges.


• Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of a second language is a plus.


• Excellent computer and web skills required with a particular focus on G-suite and Google sheets.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
