Job summary

Translated is seeking a Localization Quality Manager to drive quality initiatives across human and MT workflows for key clients in the digital space. You will define quality requirements, develop training programs, manage linguistic assets, supervise linguists, and report quality metrics to clients.

Collaboration with PgM, PjM, AM and Data Science is essential to improve MT engine behaviour and overall quality at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in localization with Quality Management focus.
• Excellent knowledge of English; another language preferred.
• Excellent computer and web skills.
• Experience with automatic quality estimation for MT.
• Strong analytical skills for data-driven improvement.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Teaching or training experience preferred.
• University studies in business, management or translation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define quality requirements and frameworks for human and MT workflows.
• Develop client or service-specific training and testing programs; provide hands-on training and performance improvement plans for freelancers.
• Manage linguistic assets for clients, including MT, translation memory, glossaries and style guides.
• Oversee teams of linguists, Language Experts and Language Leads; monitor performance for high-quality outcomes.
• Analyze quality with a data-driven approach and define metrics for continuous improvement.
• Serve as QM point of contact with clients; attend meetings and present quality data and plans.
• Collaborate with PgM, PjM, AM and Data Science to ensure seamless workflows and scale quality.
